The school grounds are beautifully and expertly maintained by the school’s general assistant. Please say hello if you seem him about the school!
The Gardens and Grounds Committee coordinates the contribution by school families and community members to further enrich the quality of the school’s environment.
This committee organises typically four major working bees each year, two at each site. Covid unfortunately has interrupted this in recent times. Typically however, tasks undertaken including spreading mulch, trimming trees and shrubs, establishing and planting new garden areas, plus working on any small building and/or painting projects.
Tasks like garden maintenance are much more achievable the more sets of hands we have, so please jump in and get involved if you see an upcoming working bee advertised on our Facebook feed.
